WHAT TO EXPECT
If you have not been here before, we want
your first experience to be easy and enjoyable. Below is a list of
some of the questions we frequently answer for first time visitors.
If you have a question that is not listed here, please
contact us.
What kind of music do you play?
Services have a variety of traditional hymns contemporary
choruses as well as a full band, praise team.
How long do your services last?
Each service lasts approximately 1 hour.
Will anyone bombard me with questions?
Our hope is that you will be greeted at the door by a friendly face
and directed to the sanctuary. During the service, we ask that
you sign the Member/Guest Card in your bulletin with your name and
address so we have record of your visit. You can request to receive
information, but we will not mail unsolicited materials to your
home. Each Sunday at the beginning of the service, we spend 2-3
minutes greeting the folks sitting near us.
Will I have to do anything strange or
uncomfortable during the service?
We believe that even community worship is personal.
Sometimes this means a person will clap, raise a hand, stand up, sit
down, dance, or just be still. We whole-heartedly believe that
worship is a conversation between you and God, and is as individual
as we each are.
What do I wear? Dress
comfortably. We are not here for a fashion show. Some
people wear jeans or shorts. Others may wear a suit or dress.
What makes the Nazarene Church different
from other denominations?
The Church of the Nazarene is a Protestant Christian
church. Nazarenes believe that God calls Christians to a life of
holy living. We believe God cleanses the heart from original sin and
fills an individual with love for God and humankind. This
experience, sometimes called “sanctification” is marked by entire
consecration of the believer to do God's will and is followed by a
life of seeking to serve God through service to others. Click

what we believe.
